Included in the annual schedule are three automotive swap meets (car show) in the spring, summer, and fall, and eight individual specialty shows featuring corvettes, fords, gm's, chryslers, trucks, motorcycles, sport compacts and imports. For carlisle event's spring and fall car shows, held in late april and early october, the 150 acres of the carlisle fairgrounds are transformed to accommodate 8,100 vending spaces.
